GreatCall and Samsung to Target Baby Boomers with Jitterbug Service

An MVNO startup by the name of GreatCall is hoping to appeal to the aging
baby boomer population with a new mobile phone service called Jitterbug.

The easy-to-use Jitterbug offering will be available on specially designed
Samsung handsets, which will feature large buttons, an easy-to-read display, and
high-sound quality.

As the huge baby boomer population segment ages, we can expect to see more and
more handsets integrating subtle features for older users. This will be a
largely market-driven phenomena, as demand for such features can only increase
over the coming years and decades.
